She was a newborn the first time I photographed her. How quickly time has passed. Her mother is one of the best friends I have. She’s quick to lend a hand, check on me, make sure I’m taking care of myself, always has something encouraging to say, gives great hugs…I cannot express our friendship in words. She makes me smile.

Newborns are some of my favorite sessions. They’re so new and so fresh. Momma had so many ideas and made the session so smooth…letting me rearrange her furniture, cuddle her baby as long as I needed to, and ready for anything I suggested. It was great. And Dad? Well, we can hope Blakleigh gets his eyes. Thank you guys for letting me be a part of your baby’s first few days.

This was a super fun mini maternity session. Dad was a good sport…and a good prop. :) Mom was just plain pretty. I’m excited to meet their baby girl in a few short weeks. Thank you for letting me be a part of this precious time in your lives.
